Automotive TVS Diodes
1:08
Eaton’s automotive and high reliability TVS Diodes provide overvoltage protection with very fast response times, low clamping voltage and high peak current capability, making them ideal for protecting critical circuits. These TVS diodes are offered in industry standard surface mount and radial thru-hole. They’re AEC-Q101 qualified and suitable for use in automotive and high reliability applications. They utilize silicon avalanche technology to provide excellent protection against transient surges caused by everything from ESD to induced lightning. The surface mount diodes can suppress up to 8 kW of peak power dissipation and 247 Amps on a 10/1000 µs waveform, while the radial diodes can suppress up to 12 kilowatts and 270 Amps, and both offer ISO 16750 5a and 5b load dump ratings. Eaton Automotive and high reliability TVS diodes are available with a wide range of reverse working and clamping voltages for application flexibility.
