Eaton MOVS surface mount metal oxide varistors digital data sheet
1:03
Eaton’s Bussmann series MOVS surface mount metal oxide varistors provide a wider range of working voltages and higher surge current withstand capability than other SMD MOVs, providing high surge overvoltage protection in a wide variety of applications, including smart meters, AC driven LEDs, power supplies and more. The MOVS series can be used in AC and DC circuits and is available with working voltages up to 510 volts RMS, providing protection for line voltages up to 480 volts AC. They’re offered in 2825 and 4032 footprints, allowing designers to balance package size and surge protection needs, and the series includes MOVs with up to 1750 amp peak surge current capability. The MOVS series is UL certified and the compact, surface mount packages enable lower height designs with reduced assembly costs compared to through hole MOVs.
